Method

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until foaming. Add the carrots, brown sugar, honey, water, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook until the carrots are tender when pierced with a fork, about 10 minutes.
