What we collect

RecipeLab is a read-mostly recipe site and collects very little. We do not require accounts and do not collect names, emails, or payment details.

• Click analytics: when you tap a sponsored product, we record which product and recipe were involved, a one-way hash of your browser's user-agent string, and the time. This cannot identify you personally.
• Local preferences: your metric/imperial unit choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device.
• Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard web-server request logs for security and reliability.

Advertising disclosure

RecipeLab participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates program. Some product links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are labeled as sponsored and marked rel="nofollow sponsored".

Cookies

RecipeLab sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. If you follow an affiliate link to a merchant such as Amazon, that merchant may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy; Amazon's cookie attributes purchases made within 24 hours of your click back to this site.

Third parties

Recipe generation uses AI services (DeepSeek); recipe photography is generated with AI image services; product links point to Amazon.com. We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone.
